I met the founders of Heidi Ho Organics right as they were about to dive head first into vegan cheeze glory.

To say that their product has launched is an understatement....it has rocketed!

The cheezes are local/sustainable/plant based and DEEElish. If you are Vegan, they fill a void that other vegan cheezes have not quite filled. If you love the planet, awesome flavor and good healthy food, they will fill your tummy.

One of the greatest discoveries about Portland I have made, is that as a collective working group...the photographers here are generous beyond belief.

It's the way I was brought up and what I believe...if you share what you know, if you give when you can, you will raise the bar for everyone. I have been blessed to have been on the receiving end of that generosity many times.

So when Stephen asked if I might help on a shoot I said, "what time?"

The photo shoot was for the athletic clothing company Lululemon. If you haven't checked out their store you are in for a treat. The clothing is amazing, the staff you will want to take home with you and the care they give to the environment and community is inspiring. They have a location here in Portland OR, on Couch St. between 12th & 13th in the Pearl District.

Sadie Lincoln is the stunning athlete in these images. She is sweet + strong and can bring the awesome! She is also the owner of Barre 3. A studio where "ballet barre meets yoga and pilates". It will kick your bunz ... you will like it and ask for more!

The master mind/photo God behind this shoot is Stephen Gilbert He is a genius of 'set up', an amazing photographer, damn fun to be around and created a shoot that literally took my breath away. It takes quite a few people to pull off a successful shoot, but having that many people around is never dull and makes the day SO much better. If you happen to be in the neighborhood, come on in to see the results at the Lululemon store in the Pearl. It will blow your mind!

First Thursday with Dog-atude!

Summer has arrived and so has my perma-grin!

I 'suffer' through the nine months of grey + cool for this yummy sun and these perfect temps. Portland is awash with smiling faces and WAY too many fun things to do.

The one that puts a giddy in my 'yup is First Thursdays in the Pearl. They are the perfect nightcap to a Portland Summer's day. This first Thursday (7/2) I will be hanging out with the ever amazing Theresa at Dogstar. Dogstar a full service dog/cat boarding + day care + grooming + FABU-LOS retail store located at 1313 NW Kearney in the Pearl District

Theresa will be unveiling new artwork, will have plenty of wine for sipping, treats for the pups + I am giving a FREE e-portrait for every pup that has their human sign up for the monthly newsletter. We will also be raffling off a full 'Dog In the City' photo session-including $300 print credit + Dogstar gift certificates!!!!

So come on by...bring the furr babies an join us in what will be a paw slappin' good time.

Marsh Creek

What an amazing day! T and I spent a gorgeous Summer afternoon at Marsh Creek State Park in PA. We were blessed with an unheard of 8o degree, low humidity afternoon. You may recognize this fabulous, beautiful woman from QVC where she models. We created some wonderful new images for her portfolio. Beauty inside and out.. she made my job a joy. Working with other creative people is such fun! Here are some of my favorites.

I don't think there are any T-rex about...

Last month I made the 3.5 hr trip from Portland to Bend. Oh my what a beautiful city....sunny, friendly people, rushing rivers, mountains...all you could ever want!

All that and they love their dogs too... what's not to like? I spent the weekend with the owners of Tazlab, their most adorable son and their extremely talented dog Tasman. Tazlab is a company that produces the best collars on the planet. : -) Visit their website to find out why..www.tazlab.com

As fabulous as the collars are, that was not brought me to Bend.
